Ready to Launch Your App?

Follow this simple guide to get your app live on Google Play Store. We'll walk you through every step in easy-to-understand language!

1

Create Google Play Console Account

First, you need a Google Play Console account to upload your app.

What you need:

  • A Google account (Gmail)
  • $25 one-time registration fee
  • A credit card or debit card

Steps to create account:

  • Go to Google Play Console
  • Click "Create Developer Account"
  • Sign in with your Google account
  • Pay the $25 registration fee
  • Fill out your developer profile information
  • Wait for account approval (usually takes 1-2 days)

Important: Use a professional email address and provide accurate information. Google reviews all developer accounts.

2

Prepare Your App Files

Before uploading, make sure you have all the required files ready.

AAB File

Your signed Android App Bundle (.aab file) that you created using our platform.

App Icon

High-quality app icon (512x512 pixels, PNG format)

Screenshots

At least 2 screenshots of your app in action

App Description

Short and long descriptions of what your app does

Tip: Take screenshots on different devices to show how your app looks on phones and tablets.

3

Create New App in Play Console

Now let's create your app listing in Google Play Console.

Follow these steps:

  • Log into your Google Play Console
  • Click "Create app" button
  • Enter your app name (this will be shown in Play Store)
  • Choose "App" as the type (not Game)
  • Select "Free" or "Paid" (you can change this later)
  • Choose your target audience (usually "Everyone")
  • Accept the Developer Program Policies
  • Click "Create app"

Choosing a good app name:

  • Keep it short and memorable
  • Make it describe what your app does
  • Avoid special characters
  • Check if the name is already taken
4

Fill App Information

Now you need to provide information about your app so users can find and understand it.

Main store listing information:

  • App name: The name users will see in Play Store
  • Short description: One sentence about your app (80 characters max)
  • Full description: Detailed explanation of your app (4000 characters max)
  • App icon: Upload your 512x512 PNG icon
  • Screenshots: Upload 2-8 screenshots showing your app
  • Category: Choose the best category for your app
  • Contact details: Your email and website (optional)
Phone Screenshots

At least 2 screenshots
Recommended: 1080x1920 pixels

Tablet Screenshots

Optional but recommended
Recommended: 1200x1920 pixels

Pro tip: Write your description in simple language. Explain what problem your app solves and why users should download it.

5

Upload Your AAB File

This is where you upload the actual app file that users will download.

Steps to upload:

  • Go to "App releases" or "Release" section
  • Click "Production" track
  • Click "Create new release"
  • Upload your signed AAB file (the one you downloaded from our platform)
  • Add release notes (what's new in this version)
  • Click "Save" and then "Review release"

Important: Make sure you upload the signed AAB file, not the unsigned one. The file should end with ".aab"

What are release notes?

Release notes tell users what's new or fixed in your app. For your first release, you can write something like "Initial release of [Your App Name]"

6

Set Content Rating

Google needs to know what age group your app is suitable for.

How to set content rating:

  • Go to "Content rating" section
  • Click "Start questionnaire"
  • Select your app category (usually "Utility" for website apps)
  • Answer questions about your app content honestly
  • Most website apps will get "Everyone" rating
  • Click "Save questionnaire"

Common ratings:

  • Everyone: Suitable for all ages
  • Teen: For ages 13 and up
  • Mature: For ages 17 and up
7

Set Target Audience

Tell Google who your app is designed for.

Steps:

  • Go to "Target audience" section
  • Select age groups your app targets
  • For most apps, select "Ages 13 and up" or "Ages 18 and up"
  • Answer if your app appeals to children
  • Click "Save"

Important: If your app targets children under 13, you'll need to follow special rules (COPPA compliance). Most business apps should target "Ages 13 and up".

8

Add Privacy Policy

Google requires all apps to have a privacy policy that explains how you handle user data.

What to do:

  • Go to "App content" section
  • Click "Privacy Policy"
  • Enter the URL of your privacy policy
  • If you don't have one, create a simple privacy policy
  • Click "Save"

Don't have a privacy policy?

You can create a simple one using free generators online. Search for "privacy policy generator" and create one for your website/app. Make sure to include:

  • What information you collect
  • How you use the information
  • How users can contact you
9

Review and Publish

Almost done! Now let's review everything and publish your app.

Final steps:

  • Go to "Publishing overview" or "Dashboard"
  • Check that all sections have green checkmarks
  • If any section shows errors, click on it and fix the issues
  • Once everything is complete, click "Send for review"
  • Confirm that you want to publish to production

Review Process:

Google will review your app, which usually takes 1-3 days. You'll get an email when it's approved and live on Play Store!

Before publishing, make sure:

  • All required information is filled
  • Screenshots look good and show your app clearly
  • App description is clear and helpful
  • Privacy policy URL works
  • Content rating is appropriate
10

Common Issues & Solutions

Here are solutions to common problems you might face:

"App not eligible for production"

Solution: Make sure you've completed all required sections: Store listing, Content rating, Target audience, and Privacy policy.

"Upload failed" error

Solution: Make sure you're uploading a signed AAB file (not APK). The file should be less than 150MB.

"App rejected" by Google

Solution: Read the rejection email carefully. Common reasons include policy violations, broken functionality, or missing information. Fix the issues and resubmit.
